fonts-freefarsi software package provides FreeFarsi TrueType Persian fonts, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-freefarsi
fonts-freefarsi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-freefarsi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-freefarsi *
You will get with fonts-freefarsi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
